Anna  from Papercrafts, Joy & My Inspirations bestowed upon me the "Liebster Award"!!!

The Liebster Blog Award is given to bring new blogs into the light. It's a great way to share blogs that might not otherwise be noticed and should be. As a recipient of this award I am to pick 3 - 5 blogs, pass it on and do the following:

1. Let them know you chose them.
2. Copy and paste the award to your blog.
3. Have faith that your followers will rally and show their crafty love back out to those awarded.
4. And have fun!!

I have to tell you, this was so fun!   There are so many blogs that show true expression.   I thought originally I would be picking just card crafting blogs, but seeing others vision in different forms of creativity was great.   I read blogging on  writing, home resigning, jewelry making and even adoption ... from china.   Of course I love love my crafter's but I had to at least throw in two unconventional creative blogs.

So without further ado my choices are:

1. Briana at vintage53,  the jewelry is absolutely beautiful, check out her etsy shop too!
2. Michelle at JiroKen,  Michelle has the cutest cards and you know I love cards!
3. Julie at Bits of Bruce she is a great journalist, her writing is very good. And she is random on her projects from painting to sewing to house remodeling.
4. Amanda at Crafty Paper Girl ,  love her page layouts and great photographer. ooh and has a great etsy shop.
5. Phyliss at scrappynhappy,  ok this blog is closing however Phylliss has started a new one at  New Blog but I am listing the first one as she has a great message on blog hopping that I think is very important.  Again because of this award I did a lot of blog hopping and really enjoyed it.  So it would be a shame if bloggers remove the ability for you to hop to the next hop.   Also Phyllis is an avid book reader and blogs about her review on the books she read.

Liebster Blog Award

Happy Thursday!   So I was surprised to learn that another blogger past on to me what is called the Liebster Blog Award.   At first I was like hmmm, what could this be? So off course I googled it...   Basically its an honor as someone who thinks that your new blog is noteworthy enough to spread the word to other bloggers.   It is now my duty to find 3-5 new bloggers  that I think is noteworthy and pass the award on to them.  Let me tell you not an easy task.  There are so many great blogs out there!   So stayed tuned as I am compiling my list. Mojo Monday 5.16.11

Hope everyone is having a great week,  here in Florida our week started off with a shuttle launch.   I am going to miss our scheduled launches when the program ends.   I guess though we still have our sunshine and water activities.   Speaking of water activities  I just got this stamp from WSD and couldn't wait to do a project with it.   So for this weeks Mojo Monday challenge I used "the kiddie pool" as my image.

Mojo Monday 5.9.11

I have been giddy all week....   so last challenge for Mojo Monday- Julee from Verve commented on my link!!!! She liked my card and my choice of colors.  Julee!   From Viva La Verve!    So since then I have been thinking.... my next Mojo Monday Project I am using my verve stamp set (yes I only have one but I so want more).  Soon very soon :)

Ok  for the card.... its for this weeks Mojo Monday challenge and it just so happens that I needed a sympathy card as well.   I just love this stamp set, so elegant in words.   Its the Forever In Our Hearts set.

This is also one of my favorite card packs it from K & Company called sweet nectar.  I use it a lot, I mean a lot -I am almost out.

Happy Monday!   Hope you are having a great start to a great week.   So the coffee filter flower is back, yeah I am hooked.   I did this card for the CR84FN Sunday challenge.  Here is the link if you want to play along CR84fn challenge 5.8.11.  The color choice was grey, pink and cream.   I really like this color combo.  Hope you do too :).

Mummies Day

I have been waiting all week to post this card.   It was for my mother and I didn't want her to see it before she received it :).   So yes its another S.W.A.L.K girl,  I promise this is my last one (till I order more!).   I actually did this card for the MFT Wednesday sketch challenge.   Hope all you Mommies out there had a very special day. WSD has a new stamp set out called Diva Gals. They are fabulous :) I did this card for the SCC 331, it looks like the challenge layout uses a larger card. I shrank mine to an A2. Thanks for checking out my blog.

I wish I had more time to do all the challenges!  This is actually last-last Mojo Monday's challenge.   This is from S.W.A.L.K.   Its the "friends like you" plate stamp.   I saw this stamp at  last years stampfest and just recently purchased with two others.   Super cute, hope you think so too :)  Have a great day.
